What do you think the fifth and final season of Breaking Bad will be about? Gus is dead, the drug cartel is gone, and the super lab was destroyed. Not much is left other than putting life back together or having it all fall apart. I, for one, want to know what happened to Mike.

I expect Walt to die, it's the only way to show can decently end.

I didn't even understand why the need for season 5 after the way 4 ended, but whatever.

Also, I read that season 4 was written on the fly, which makes sense cause the first half was terrible.

cant wait for the new season. so many ways this can all play out. maybe walter will get busted and have to figure out how to get away with shit. another cartel is always waiting to start up where the last one fell and could go after walter. but these are all things u would kinda expect to happen so i hope they got something original and creative for the next season.

If Gus comes back flipping a coin, I'm done with the show.

Really though, I hope his past in Chile is explored a little. What really happened to the Ricen? Did Hank's investigation end when the Laundromat was burned down? A friend said that a female Lawyer may show up but I haven't heard anything. How will Walt Jr find out about his dad? Will the show finally stop portraying all females as bad?

Yeah, I can't wait for the next season. The show is a blast.

I just started watching this show a few months ago and just watched the season 4 finale last night.

Seriously the best show currently on television. The second to last episode on Season 3 when Walt rolls over those two dudes, shoots the one in the face and says: "Run". I stood up and yelled "Fuck!"at my TV.

So many great moments. I love it.

Definitely one of the best shows out there. Loved it from start to finish.

Maybe they should have season 5 be 6 episodes long instead of the usual 12/13 and just wrap it all up. Let us know if Hank will catch Walt or not. If Walt Jr. finds out about his dad or not. If Jessy finds out that Walt let his girlfriend die. If Walt will beat his cancer or if he will die, maybe even suicide because of the guilt or something. I wouldn't care much for another drug cartel boss sidestory. Wrap up the loose ends that surround Walt and focus on just that, I would say.

Walts breakdown in Season 4 episode 11 is one of the best ones ive ever seen in either tv or film btw. Brian Cranston deserves all those oscars and other praise hes got.

They want to make it 16 episodes long so it would be longer than any of the other seasons. Don't know why but I can only guess they want to cash in on the series while they can.

His breakdown was pretty intense, the directors really know how to push the actors to their limits.

So they are going to split the 5th and final season into two parts. The first part will air this summer, July 15th, and will be eight episodes long. The next eight episodes will air one year later.

WHAT?! Oh my fucking god, I'm getting sick of this new trend of tv shows splitting their seasons up like that. What the fuck? I don't get it. Really annoying.

Tell me about it. This is far worse than I'm used too. Usually the break is only two or four weeks, not a whole goddamn year. This isn't a movie. We know the whole thing is finished, they just want to rack in the viewers on their swan song for the series.

I heard they are trying to get people to watch whatever series is going to be replacing Breaking Bad. Maybe it will air in the off time? Who cares.

I remember that for season six. It makes me so uninterested in the show having to wait so long for the next episode. I like being able to watch six or seven episodes in a row so it feels more like a movie. It's way better to just wait for the season to be done with so you can watch it all at once.
