Sick of the high up aliasing, and having to use the on screen editor, but mainly because I couldn't get the tone to sit well with my other synths, even though I worked a lot with EQ'ing and compression, both digital and analog. i recorded a bit with it though, now I'm just looking forward to the Nord.

What i hate about the TI is all the presets are drowning in their shitty fx, i get better fx in the box. thats what i hated and the virus a sounds better and more raw to me.

i never play my virus above a3 with the filter open, it sucks. but other than that i think it smokes the nord for bass and arps. Nord is better for leads. but no VA can touch a VCO synth for leads.

Just listened to my nord 2 demo again. WOW.

it soudns great up high, it does alias doing some things, but this thing smokes all other VAs up high.

Wish i never sold it now, shit.

need one again, as my main controller. love the pitch wheel.

Sweet, then I should buy that; I was just intruiged by the 990's really old sounding patches, the pads and harps and stuff.

The demo's you made are sick. Very musical sounding for a VA, very organic. The distortion is pleasant too. Nord 2 and 8080/8000 are the best VA's ever, the ultimate for psy if you have analog bass, + the Nord doubles up as a main controller, that's what sold it to me.

Virus Classic also sounds much better than the TI to me. TI sounds great on it's own, until I tried mixing it.

I want to not be broke so I can afford more than the bare minimum to write music. Kind of suffering without a few good hardware synths. Were I to set myself up a new studio right now, i'd probably do something like this.

The pulse has multimode filter. other than that, yuck.
