 Goa Trance recommendations?
I just got Astral Projection's "Trust In Trance" and I'm loving this shit, looking for recs along the lines of this.

I am not sure where to draw the line between Psytrance and Goa, but I'd recommend Protoculture. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPSebfoQypghttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69fgNJ5hGYM

my favorite psytrance song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9a7G7rssm-Mit's hard to pick a second but i guess this is it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeJszaSxnzg i've listened to a lot of this shit fairly constantly over the last 7-8 years? rolled pretty hard at a local psytrance club once as well i haven't heard anything as good as that Vibe Tribe track if you wanna get serious about this shit check out a guy named "sabry25" on demonoid...sickest mixes out there imo...i actually just downloaded his newest mix a few hours ago

Not being a big Trance person, I don't know if Juno Reactor are ubiquitous for this style of music or not. I'll recommend them anyway.

 Re: Goa Trance recommendations?
check out Shiva Chandra, X-Dream, Tron, Green Nuns of the Revolution for more modern stuff check out Electric Universe, Deja Voo, and search for mixes from festivals like Vuuv. If you can find Burner on soundcloud, his mixes are awesome. most of the psytrance I listen to is random stuff i hear in mixes or at festivals though. and you can download loads of free stuff (legally I believe) from ektoplazm.com. they have a section for all different styles - goa, dark, forest, full-on, daytime, minimal etc i'm putting together a psytrance set at the moment for a 2-day festival me and my friends are putting on in the middle of nowhere. should be fun

 Re: Goa Trance recommendations?
hey dude just uploaded a recording of my last set, check it out to hear a few of my fav tunes http://soundcloud.com/atropa/alien-vibrations-2012starts off with a lil goa track, blending into more full-on stuff and gets a teensy bit darker as it goes on while staying melodic and forever changing basslines. let me know what you think

 Re: Goa Trance recommendations?
One all time fave - the whole New Kind of World is awesome. My first recommendation would be Astral Projection - In the Mix (2 CD). One of the most powerful albums in any genre and the best GOA/Psytrance I've heard so far. Try: Ionized, Trancedance, Axis, Free Tibet. Prior to Astral Projection there was SFX. They had this track "Y-salem" on a compilation called "A Taste of Trust in Trance": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJaqvuiJcwYWhat do you think of Infected Mushroom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hLnMDJ-gV4
