Post Wound (Legacy of the Revolution Mix)
One of my all time favorite VAC songs just because of the vocals. Seriously, they are awesome. How did they end up unprocessed though? Are they sent clean to the people who remix it?

I'm really glad I got the Wound Single all those years ago. I got it at The Not So Hot Topic and the guy at the counter said: "Velvet Acid Christ? Who the fuck is this? Is the singer suicidal? Because that's how I like them."

That's awesome :)
This is the one single of VAC that I don't have though; I need to get it - the cover of "The Figurehead" got me stoked!

Image if you actually bought it you would know, god damn piracy. makes people ignorant too, cause they never label the shit they rip correctly.

BUY IT NOW THERE! ITS CHEAP!

FYI I got he remixes back from the band who did them then i sang over the top of it using a different mode, different and new vocal takes.

For the record, metropolis hated my vocals on this version. So i put it on the remix.

Its a pity that that band and i didn't work together more, to much hate and mean spirited jabs and crap betrayal. I wont ever speak with them again. You missed all the drama, they were very mean to the users on here telling them to fuck off and acting super stuck up. It was so lame. I wish them the best and want nothing to do with them. We used to be best friends then they listened to people on the net who spread lies about me. I hate those people with all my soul. All the crap that started with them fed back in and ruined my relationship with todd, because he kept associating with my enemies. I wont forgive anyone, it ruined great potential for music, the petty shit ruined me working with revstate and vice versa, and me working with Tood. Thanks to good old Syphax, yes drama that was started here on this forum, and most of you were not around or do not remember. its so sad and pointless, and in the end everyone ended up suffering for no fucking good reason at all. Sucks though because i would of gone on tour with them, and had a band and everything. Instead the past came an reared its ugly head and ruined it all. Oh fucking well.

It's ok, i prefer working alone now any way.

Remixed by Revolution State. A BIG CAN OF WORMS.

I can sing a lot of different ways.

It's cool. I thought that the vocals on it were the same as the original, only unfiltered. I was thinking that when stuff is remixed, then the vocals are sent clean and the remixer then distorts them, or doesn't, and sends the track back. Really stupid to think in retrospect. I really rushed the post and I can see where my question is misleading. >>

And shit, I actually think I know who you are referring to now. I had no idea they were Revolution State. The more you know.

@thecalling: Thanks. I just had to get it when I found it. :D Get this single, it's awesome. The Figurehead cover deserves more recognition.

metropolis did not too many wimpy vocal clean parts on the lp to hurt the feel of the lp, their input was umm something i will never ask for again :)

Yeah oftentimes a record label's recommendations aren't the best. I mean also look at cotd-beta and how they made you take off/change a lot of tracks that were just fine - in fact I prefer some of the beta mixes to the actual ones. Not that the final cotd was bad, it wasn't - it was one of the best albums out there, but taking label recommendation sometimes comes in the way of artistic vision in annoying ways I find.

Off beat wanted more futiles. I write a lot of goth and spooky dark shit that is my forte and love, and they made me sit on it on cotd and make a more electro lp, it seems their advice was good because so many on this forum list it as their fav vac lp.

I like what i did on hex angel, and lust for blood, the labels hated it, melow in parts metal and goth influences. They all want cotd and FWK over and over and i cannot write like that over and over.

the reason the new Toxic coma got released was because it was upbeat and techno like fwk and had a similar vibe. Psychophreak which i personally prefer got rejected as did the self titled.

Toxic Coma may tour before VAC, Lunggravy is into doing it and will put the work in, so i am super stoked to do a toxic coma tour, but i will not play vac at all so im warning you.

I vaguely remember Syphax, crazy that just one doucher could cause so much damage.

I think that the Wound single was the best put together single. The Cure cover was fantastic and the remixes were great.

That kid was beyond douchy. There was some serious mental illness with him.

You can sneak I'm Gonna Wrap Myself in your Intestines into a TC setlist. That should hold people over.
