Yup. In the early days they were so different. but seriously now, you can hear them bleeding into each other.

like on the new TC, i use loops like i did on fwk, and even some progressions in similar fashion to FWK. I even hear futile like riffs in the new TC. yes.

And some old vac borrowed from tc too. LOL like neuralblastoma did big time.

The first time I heard TC it was with a friend of mine, both him and I have been long-time fans of VAC.
Both him and I have always had a quirky sense of humor. Sometimes we'd listen to industrial songs and there'd be a clip that we'd laugh at.
We never knew if it was intentional or if the artist realized it wasn't scary or dark, but just plain silly.

For example, Leaether Strip's "Lies to Tell".

There's a clip that has some slow/pitched down voice "Hands...feet..plugs? no longer part of your bodyyyyyy"

I still don't even really know what the fuck it's saying, but we'd always laugh our asses off at that.

Same with the way Raymond Watts would be really ridiculous with his voice in some songs like...."IN THE GUTTAAHHHHHHH"

Then we heard Toxic Coma and we immediately thought: This guy has our sense of humor.

We thought it was hysterical.

I think Malice was one of the first Toxic Coma songs I heard. Still one of my favorites, that voice in it is hilarious. I couldn't believe it when I found it.

Best Toxic Coma EVER!

New toxic coma, from say psychofreak to now is more like a hybrid of vac and TC. it is the only way metropolis would even consider releasing it. We didn't sell out at all, because its true to both still.

First time I heard TC I was like this:

In the beginning, it wasn't too hard to believe it was Bryan but there was a big difference for sure. But I actually did have trouble listening to it as much as VAC. Now though, I got my copy of 'Satan Rising' and I agree. It definitely does have a bleed in sound of a FWK vibe, which I'm ok with .

first time i've heard TC? well, i was like: what is this?? really in a 'erkkk" mood(when i don't like it). after, i have found some songs i appreciate so i'm not so "erkk" about TC now ^^ but i still prefer VAC ( it's more my cup of tea) like bryan already said about it, it depends how we are: i prefer dark, tortured things so it's why VAC is so important for me..
