yep. maccha is awesome, great with sweet soy-cakes, too. really oishii
but: you can't drink it on the fly, it needs some preparation, its thin powder, you need to stir it in the water, ideally with a special wooden brush made for it......very meditative, very zen, I love it.
the best japanese green tea comes from the shizuoka-prefecture. try to get these, like fukamushi and sencha "hatsumi".
I drink green tea pure, no sugar, no milk.
after boling up the water, I wait a little.
the water should be at about 80Â° (celsius)
A nice alternative is also oolong-tea.
(forget anything you knew about coffee...
