It's about a did a private trip down Desolation Canyon of the Green River I organized with two friends Sept 26th- Oct 3rd, which was my first time on that section. Needless to say it was a blast, and left quite an impression on me. My story is really several stories of geology, history, social commentary, ecology, camp fire philosophizing and flat tires draped around a frame work of a river trip with a lot of nice photos.

Everything from gay liberation to Wal Mart, pink Dinosaurs and guerrilla warfare... cretaceous oceans and natural gas... forest fires, small towns, mormons, bear attacks, and running out of water. There is this whole world out here of people who base their lives around doing this kind of stuff... it is fantastic.
