These were all taken on my property. what type of camera is your "good one"? and how many acres of land do you own? that is a beautiful atmosphere that you were shooting in. i'm just glad you aren't into HDR. i'm HDR'd out. i was just viewing a huge set of urban exploration pics and everything was crazy pro until they started posting HDR pics about half way through and they looked horrible!

 Re: Some photography of mine...
My good on is a Canon SX100 Powershot. The thing is fantastic. Has an insanely good resolution for video strangely. Filmed a silent film on it. The one I'm using now is a simple Kodak EasyShare C300. It's alright, but I prefer my Canon a lot more. I have 17 acres total. 2 are field and the other 15 are woods. A lot of cool creeks and canyons. There really isn't a fence dividing our side from the neighbors so I tend to go over there a lot. Must add 60 more acres. I've been lost a few times.

good shots imo, just need some technical things to get over.

You never see anyone and it's quiet. shake, flare, noise, and shutter speed movement (perhaps) was there any post processing applied noise on a shitty camera doing landscapes can be circumvented using multiple exposures and averaging in a layered file (provided, no movement by the foiliage) noise issues can be got around in portriats by using more light (more light = less ISO = less grain), also, fudge more of the information to the highlights, in general ccd/cmos cameras fudge more information (more detail) towards the highlights- you can always pull more contrast later (in negatives, it was the opposite) it looks as though the 1st shot has some possible flare; to see if it does , just mount the camera in location, then walk around and look at the lens, hold a book or something up and try and block the light source from the lens to see if that makes a different. tree movement can be taken care of with higher shutter speed; but that's tricky given what you're working with- at the expense of aperture, iso, and the trees move, so multiple exposures to clean up noise would be tricky.

 Re: Some photography of mine...
Nothing really impressive since I still am lacking a decent camera, but I try. Here's the cat: I currently have a slug infestation in my woods, so here's a Banana Slug: It's blurry and taken facing a great deal of light, but I like it. Here's a leaf that looks like a fish. Oh, there's also to much flash: And finally a spider:

...and don't forget doing some VAC-parties there. I've often wondered what the neighbors would think of a music festival being put on next door? LOL, would be epic. I definitely have the land to have some awesome parties. To bad people around here aren't too cool. I'm happy though. I live in a somewhat isolated little city. It's cool. LOL, VAC should play in my back yard. Here's the view outside our back window. Definitely enough room.
