id try buying some vegan protein powders. there are quite a few out there, some i've tried and they seem to work well if you mix them with whatever you're juicing.

I dont need tons of protein.

But when I do crave it, Cashews, Almonds, Brazil nuts, and Walnuts.

Easy enough.

Nuts really are the way to go! I love 'em!! Haha.

But being Indian, I find the biggest help with protein is lentils.

That guy is adorable!

I think a lot of guys are under the impression that you have to have animal protein to build muscle. I had an ex-boyfriend go back to eating meat because his personal trainer told him that being vegan and being muscular wasn't compatible. He chose to ignore all the reputable sources I found for him.

^ Wow. I would just choose to not be muscular.

I mean... what was the point of being vegan in the first place if one is able to discard their feelings on the matter so easily?

He treated veganism as just another diet fad. The ethical aspects didn't quite sink in. It was extremely frustrating.

The most annoying kinds of vegs i've dealt with are the flimsy junky ones who try to push it and eat as much processed and junk foods as they can without crossing the line.

I would definitely NOT recommend eating those processed ready to eat vegan foods. They are full of sodium and artificial flavouring.

Just look for decent vegan cookbooks, I find they have a balanced variety of meals that will have the protein that you need and can make from scratch. Beware though, some can have hard to find ingredients.

there's a chart on this page you might find useful, obviously since you're vegan and not vegetarian, just discount the non vegan bits :)
