Post Old School Industrial Drum sounds?
Been wondering how to get that old school sound, sounds like a compressed heavy long reverb gated sound, I heard about the Kawai R-100 has a kick and snare sound thats in that ballpark?

You just mess with the decay amounts till it sounds right, you can gate, but you don't have to.

Nice advice there!

Any good ideas where to get some decent drum samples to begin with...? I'm sick of the Vengeance packs. ;)

Cheers!

Get yourself a portable recorder and smash everything metal you see with a hammer.

Boost the bass frequencies and add some compression. Done.

Where's the don't-give-a-fuck attitude these days...
