Novamusik 305 bucks. fuck arturia, this stuff sounds sick, hifi, doesnt get thin up high, and the resonance sounds great. Unlike arturia.

Unlike arturia. yeh checked the demos, sooo organic sounding!!!! I always hated the filters on the Arturia synths - they always sounded cheap like some bad freeware or something.

 Re: Bought
Lots of digital filters blow, the diva filters are ok, but still not like this thing.
The reason this thing sounds so good is that all the sound generation is done at 176khz so there is no loss of sounds due to the nyquist filter.
what happens in most digital synths is that the high frequencies get chopped off and fed back in as noise underneath the sound when it hits certain frequencies that are above the nyquest filter, the higher the khz the higher the nyquist filter is and the more high frequencies get through. This really effects resonance and sounds when they are played high on the keyboard.
This is what has been killing me about all VAs since the beginning. Finally with solaris and this creamware stuff i hear VA that doesn't suck at leads and resonance. Go figure. I have ran my daw at 96khz, it does open up the top end of the sound jsut a smidge, but man 176khz it opens up all the way. You can hear it. Most people do not know this technical stuff.
I could never run at high khz when recording because i don't have the hard drive space or the cpu horsepower to pull it off with vsts running. I cant upgrade my pc because the new mother boards wont work with my sound card.
