I know bryan stated that the sound engine in 9 isnt as good as 8. Is this true?

Anyway we could get a bounced track from 8 and 9 so i can hear the difference?

I was just reading the new Computer Music and they just rave about it and how its better than 8....not by alot though.

Its very slight.

and i only notice that the bass is a little bit softer.

thats all.

scott did a render shoot out, and that is all i could tell.

What it really comes down to is do you want to use the new features and workflow options in 9. Imo there is rarely a reason to not be on the latest version of a DAW. Even if a new version has bugs .. you will probably upgrade eventually why not at least check it out to start with or get used to it over time? No point in waiting imo.

well, right now its just a money factor. just dont have it to upgrade.

im interested in the new features, tho...
