So, if anyone wants a Virus KB, 650$+shipping, could go as low as 600$. I'm thinking i'm going to replace this with a JP 8080 and get a good poly to accompany my prophet like an alpha juno.



Anyhow, V.A.C. board, I'm now wanting to sell most of my expensive monosynths and get a modular. I've already sold my SH-101, so i'd be selling my SH-9 and my Moog LP (Keeping my SH-5, might make it part of my system!).

I'm looking at the eurorack format and want this thing to sound somewhere between roland and moog. I'm not too familiar with a lot of the manufacturers out there aside from MFB, as I own a monosynth from them. (200$+shipping for a synth lite ii, DCO monosynth, if anyone's interested)And Doepher, as they have a good reputation.


I'm looking into one or two oscillators, a multimode filter, a good mixer, two good ADSRs, maybe some delay and flanger, and at least a dual LFO. Budget for this will likely be around the 2000$ range.


If it helps, I do trip hop/New Wave sounding stuff with elements of the industrial and psytrance I like tacked on, so it's like Massive Attack meets New Order and Astral Projection meets TTG V.A.C. Sort of. haha.

Well, i've got an SH-09, a Moog LP, the Virus, and a Roland TB 303 that i'm trying to get rid of at the moment.


If you're interested, i'd totally be down to trade the virus straight across for the JP. It's got a scratch on two of the keys from live use, but is otherwise just fine.
