 Re: Jobs are a bitch
Working for someone else is what sucks - having to proove yourself to other people so you can be a full time cog in their corporate machine in exchange for a salary - finding something you're good at, and going freelance or setting up your own service is better, but that takes self belief, drive, and positive thinking. It's taken a while for me to build up, but I'm almost at the stage where i can leave my four day per week salary, and work from home freelance, three days per week and survive in London.

 Re: Jobs are a bitch
And I appriciate it PA. I do try, but I am a realist. Old people never perform like they used to. Its called age. I am battling it, like fla, like puppy. and i am not fond of those guys new work. I kind of think old people should make way for the young.

I think you should never stop doing what you are passionate about, no matter what age, as long as people appreciate you for what you do.

DIMD is truly amazing work. back to the job thing... i am tired of working for someone else. i'm 36 and can't afford anything beyond rent and food. my car is dying and i don't know what i'm going to do when it finally goes. i work about 50 - 60 hours a week and am WAY underpaid (i know.... who isn't?). my boss pays for 1/2 of my health insurance and i'm diabetic, so i feel trapped in this job. so... i'm looking in to opening my own gym. i love fitness and helping others get in shape... so why not, right? we will see if it pans out, but ya gotta dream, right? i'm really scared of trying it and failing, but i am more scared of being stuck where i am and continuously being this ball of stress.
