Decided on a 9 track LP
Which means i have to complete only one more song.
Then the vocals for all 9 songs begin.
So this lp is almost done.
the other tracks i started that are not finished, well, those will be the next lp.
So happy, and you fans will be getting my music sooner than i thought.

Re: Decided on a 9 track LP
Sorry but in the 80s, most lps had 8 songs.
Better to have less songs that are not fillers.
I hate making so much fucking music and getting paid so little for it. Lust for blood was like making two lps and i got paid for one. Never ever doing that again. You want extra songs, Buy the fucking singles.
Thats what long lps were in the early 90s, they should just add the bsides from the single to the lp, so. I'm not a fan of that.
Plus I gave you a free lp on ttg, so HEHEEH you got a lot free from me already!! Sory but I'm sick of making lp lps that drag on with songs that make me want to skip.

Ah yes, this will be sooo awesome! I'm super stoked and will be ordering it as soon as it is available; last time I was there when the CD-store doors opened to get "the Art of Breaking Apart" because I was so excited from the podcasts where you talked about the songs and such! I love all of your albums and really appreciate them and the fact that you are constantly variant in your sound; it shows true talent that the mainstream world lacks terribly... I'm sure the new one will be crazy as EVER!!!

This vac lp vs the last.
Totally different. Completely. This is spooky and dark, but completely electronic and much more complex and musical.

Yeah, I feel that man; some of the best albums are short: Faith, Colours, the Great Misdirect, TTG... I prefer to have like 6 to 10 GOOD songs than a bunch of songs that are just there for no reason...

That's sweet actually; you mentioned it was like the Pink Dots so that should be interesting!!! I do love me the slow VAC too! that's why the acoustic songs are some of my favourites! Like Faithless is really beautiful, and Broken Mind; the lyrics helped me through lots of stuff as I could relate to them a lot when I was younger...

It was inspired by the dots musically, but the production is nothing like the dots, its vac through and through.

That's good, and yeah I suppose with you using Renoise now it'll sound a bit different than your previous production... all good though; that's good your workflow is finally fluid again I'm excited for whatever it is you will bring to the table with this release!

Re: Decided on a 9 track LP
Its kind of demonic. It's kind of pretty. Kind of spooky. Dancable. But it sounds like it's own thing, it's not like anything else in the scene right now, which is a great thing thank goodness.

Re: Decided on a 9 track LP
The good news is that it might come out this FALL instead of next year. Isn't that more important.
With the left over material, i can start on the next lp right away and maybe have it out next spring, wouldn't that be nice?

Re: Decided on a 9 track LP
Overly long LP's tend to have songs skipped. Nine songs sounds perfect. I can't wait.
