Re: Favorite Vac song and why?
You pose a difficult question.
I'm going to go with Pretty Toy though because every aspect of that song speaks to me. It all goes together so well, the way you sing the lyrics to the music and how the rythym and beat work throughout the song. Especially when the drum beat kicks in later on in the song. This particular song sends a chill down my sides it's so good.
Seriously though, I love all three albums of yours that I currently own and I suppose that this particular song would be the one I would want to have the most if I lost all the others. A very difficult decision to make though!

Not fair! only one?!
I think that the one that I play over and over is Dark Lights. This song is so deep, and depressing. Not a very good song to listen when Im depressed honestly, but I still do. lol
The enviroment, the vocals. Masterpiece.

We Have To See, We Have To Know. It runs through my veins. It calms the beast. Also.. I have to see, I have to know...

Suicide Picnic. It was the first VAC song I ever heard and I was hooked after hearing it.

Malfunction Seriously, this is the most amazing track to me, first time i heard it, when that synth ripped up, my neckhairs would rise up and i got goosebumps, and it's still the same today.

Killing a stranger
Art imitates life/life imitates art.
Perfect tempo. Just puts me in a relaxed mood.
Hard to pick one Brian.

Intussusception
I love the samples and the lyrics, the wavy sound at the beginning and how it evolves into this agressive riffs. So much different sounds, so much perfection.

I think now it's between 'Glorify Satan and Suicide' and 'Killed in Space,' both because of the AMAZING bass-patches that they have in them!!! aaaaah they are absoultely killer!!!!!

BTE2- Falling Snow
The synth part from the start got me. Reminded me of walking through the dark street while snow was falling.
BTE4-Vaginismus
I have never heard a song that sounded like that. Its very dreamy.
Fun With Knives - Icon
That string part in the end has always struck a massive sort of sadness in me. Strings are through the album but that seemed like a climax.
TTG- Velvet Pill
It lays down the whole album. Such an ethereal feeling.
Lust For Blood-Discoloured Eyes
I always felt it was probably the most sinister black metal I've heard lol. Real simple but it puts me in a gnosis.
Art Of Breaking Apart- Silver
Very much in the VAC atmosphere. Too bad it was short. Ive even thought of putting it on repeat.

Re: Favorite Vac song and why?
According to my winamp media library, it's actually Never Worship (Bruised Knees Mix), followed by The Art of Breaking Apart and Phucked Up Phreak, Black Rainbows, The Hand (Cut Throat Psycho Rave) Cyber Communists Plotting Red Revolt, and finally, of course W.H.T.S.W.H.T.K (Extended). My ultimate mix.
At least by the most played numbers... which are skewed by the last two years of my most recent install towards the last album a bit, I guess...
