I say environmental samples. You can find a lot of cool stuff out there. Go to some coffee shop and secretly record people talking. Sure you win big creeper points, but the payoff is great.

I have been playing a tabletop rpg with some friends of mine and I record a few of the conversations that happen during the session. Sometimes some cool shit is said. Other times the line is completely ruined because some dick keeps bouncing his dice on the table.

I just read the 6/16 update on the new album. Sounds great - a blending of old and new. Anything with influences of Caught and Pray for Life has my attention - those had a rhythm, a cadence and energy, (not strictly musical but also in terms of vocal and emotional momentum) in those songs that was distinctive and potent. And effective.

Keep it up. Keep telling the stories no one else is.
