 mixing on bose speakers
pc speakers. man, its hard.
I am over brighting my mix thanks to the ssl and api plugs. When I compare my mixes to say front line, mine sound clear, loud and bright.
Man this shit is hard..

May want to use your reference tracks more often and actually make a looot more use of a spectrum analyzer until you can improve your monitoring situation.
Yeah. That'd be pretty fucking hard.

TEDIOUS is another word I'd use. I've had to suffer with a shitty/no quality monitor situation for a while now.
What I do is the old fashioned method of testing the mix and that's just simply listening to it on a variety of speakers in my house. My headphones, crap pc speakers, car, phone, etc.
Sucks.
