Update: Caustic Disco single is a reality. Yes, looks like 4 remixes, a b-side, and a cover. I won’t let out all the details. But so far, Krztov and Statikcat have a new project and they are doing a remix. Todd’s Solo act “The Twilight Garden” Is working on one. Mindless Faith, and Kalte Farben will be working on stuff as well. I have picked the b-side and the cover but I will not divulge that information as of yet. I also have two music videos done. More like youtube quality stuff, simple promotional stuff that you will see come out really soon. Jef Harris is working on a new video off the new LP as well. I really like the work he does. Check back next week for an update.

Update: I have been asked to maybe do a remix single for song Caustic Disco, not sure if I will or not. Most singles do not sell and they are a ton of work. I might if I can get away with putting a bside COVER on it. I was trying to think of a good cover to do. I was thinking “White Rabbit” or something really pop like and trippy that I could make all lsdish. What would you like me to cover? Chime in, Please leave a comment on what more mainstream song you would like to hear covered by VAC. If I can find a fun song to cover, I might do the caustic disco single, and get some cool bands to remix the song. I would like She Wants Revenge, Ladytron, or Covenant to remix that song for us. But It looks like maybe Kalte Farben(old vac friend), and maybe Mindless Faith might. I just want to make sure it is commercially viable. I’m sick of putting tons of work into Singles that never sell when I could be making a new lp, where I make the real money.

Update: I have short hair, it is thinning, I am out of shape. The band image thing is a huge pain in my ass, I have done one photo shoot, and the pictures are not good enough, I will try again this weekend and hopefully I can get something decent. I’m looking for band mates in colorado for upcoming possible live shows. I spend all my money on studio gear, not clothing, my label doesn’t pay me enough to look sharp. :( That is because records do not sell like they used to. I love the cure, but seeing robert smith all fat and with nappy hair really kind of bugs me. I don’t want to be like he is. Not that I am shallow, its just not fun to look at bad band image. That is what scares me.

Update: Got an offer from the WAV gothic fest in Germany, they said they would pay for our airfare round trip i think to play the festival, if that is the case, maybe we could set up a european tour and play all of europe. This time I will have to staple a wig to my balding head, and lose some weight before I head out. Weeeeee. Any way, I need to find a band really bad.

Update: Things are slow, not making good progress on tours. It’s to late to book fall. I will only maybe do like 1 or or 3 one offs over the winter, no tour till next spring. I am now working for Vampire Freaks. I hope i can make a positive impact on the scene over there, maybe help shed light on the old school to the new school. We’ll see. EDT is on the back burner, everything new i would post for edt is now on VF. After two weeks, i will make it go live on EDT. so VF gets a 2 week exclusive on all my new reviews and stuff.

Update: Found a Virus A, waiting for it. Working on the live shows, music videos for the new record, and trying to get promo photos done.
Looks like EDT media blog and Vampire Freaks will be fusing in the near future. I want more exposure for my reviews. So you may have to go there in the future if you want to read VAC reviewing other bands, media, models, art etc.

Update: Working on the live show tracks, figuring out the set lists, getting the right gear together to play live shows. Getting ready to take press photos. Bought an emu e6400 ultra, great live sampler and studio sampler. Looking for a Access Virus A, or a Virus Rack. Oh the fun. Actually writing new songs as well. Still staying busy. I added a ton of new favorite videos to my youtube account. And yes, trying our best to avoid using laptops on stage :)
