http://www.velvetacidchrist.com/VACPODCASTArtofBreakingApart10-11.mp3
Yes, we talk about the 10th and 11th tracks on the new LP “Faithless” and “Silver”. This is the last podcast in this series. We talk about those last songs on the lp and the LP as a whole. More production stuff as well. Hope you liked these podcasts. If you did enjoy them, please leave comments.
Update: Caustic Disco single is a reality. Yes, looks like 4 remixes, a b-side, and a cover. I won’t let out all the details. But so far, Krztov and Statikcat have a new project and they are doing a remix. Todd’s Solo act “The Twilight Garden” Is working on one. Mindless Faith, and Kalte Farben will be working on stuff as well. I have picked the b-side and the cover but I will not divulge that information as of yet. I also have two music videos done. More like youtube quality stuff, simple promotional stuff that you will see come out really soon. Jef Harris is working on a new video off the new LP as well. I really like the work he does. Check back next week for an update.
Hexfix93.
These songs are on the up coming “The Art of Breaking Apart” LP that is coming out on OCT 27 2009. You can pre order by Clicking Here.
Also be sure and check out Todd’s Solo project “The Twilight Garden” on Projekt Records. New LP “A world We Pretend” will be out early next year. The Twilight Garden mixes atmospheric strings with melodic melodies and fuses them with slow beats and lullaby like energy. Elegant powerful sounding vocals mixed with an old school european new wave and goth sound. Think The Legendary Pink Dots, The Cure, David Bowie and a pinch of NIN and Shoe Gaze mixed with a modern take on the more epic and atmospheric song writing of the 80s. Check out their myspace by Clicking Here, there you can listen to a montage of his lp, really cool. Also You can buy it now Click Here to buy it. Todd has been my best friend over the last 3 years. Helped me out a lot, and is the only person I really even hang out with anymore. Please support his band. Thanks.

well maybe one day these ass holes running the world will run us straight into the zombie apocalypse.I think that would be great I’d love to kill zombies.just board up my house, play x box, smoke my pipe like sherlock holmes.except i’d have a bunch of drum machines and synths instead of a violin.then just chill the fuck out and be left alone.well not totally alone that would suck.instead of watson id have some hot babe here with me. we could play basketball in my back yard.except we would use severed zombie heads instead of a basketball.just to fuck with the zombies and piss them off.then when the zombies started to get all upset cuz we were using there severed zombie heads as a ball we’d blow them away hahaha.we could even have zombie barbecues with our neighbors and put “i’m with stupid” t-shirts on the zombies and take pictures with them. it’ll be great .

Agreed – Thanks for making these Bryan!
I can’t wait for next week! It will be a very nice end to mid-terms :^)
Also, have you considered doing some sort of remix contest? What I have in mind is something like publishing a song to be remixed on this site and letting your fans have a go at remixing your work. Any thoughts on this?

Thank you for these podcasts Bryan. I’ve enjoyed listening to them. Also, thank you for doing the Caustic Disco single. I’ll buy it the second it becomes available.
Like I said before, I can’t wait to hear Mindless Faith’s contribution to the single.

This is strange, because, just yesterday a colleague at work talked to me about podcasts -witch was an alien concept to me, until now. What I like about it is that it is an intimate atmosphere that opens me to focus into understanding…and the voice is so near. I feel privileged to have an inside view on your work and thoughts. And I want to thank you for what you bring to this world. What I received, anyway, and still do.
