Pre-ordered mine & can’t wait to be the first kid on the block to have the new VAC!!! Also, I agree that if you could find a way to finance some other merch like stickers, buttons, posters, shirts for the tour or to order through metropolis or here, etc. I’d be interested!
sorry bryan i am really not liking this cd art. it looks like something marilyn manson would do – aimed at young teenagers. its real cheesy. same with lust for blood.
Oh and btw, who else is there, al lthe old people move on, have kids and stop going to shows, so yeah, what is so bad about marketing to kids, who are the future of music btw.
To ‘iloveyoubut,’ what, exactly, reminds you of marilyn manson about this art? Not a single one has featured a female as the primary or even secondary artwork. Generally, it’s MM himself. And what, pray tell, is so bad about using the female form for an album cover? How is that cheesey? Are females now a joke? A great deal of VAC songs are about relationships and I feel that a sinister (or unstable) looking female is appropriate for an album entitled, “the art of breaking apart.” If anything, this album shows Bryan’s ability to see beauty and form in the female figure in a classy way, with an appropriate color palette to boot (neutrals and darkness). Additionally, I fail to understand why only ‘young teenagers’ would approve of this cover. What, precisely, do older adults desire in an album cover?
You are of course welcome to your opinions, but I am confused as to its logic.
I would also like to say that I enjoyed the LFB art, a delicate looking female with internal machinery, programming perhaps, cold hard-wired. I also really liked the zombie-punk suit character (very death metal/punk in my opinion, reminded me of the hand-drawn art of Phantasm the band). The female with the spider eye was neat too, sort of ghostly and ghastly, fit with the suggestion in the ‘lust for blood’ title of a creature or unnatural being, mythical perhaps. These are my thoughts, anyway.
loveubut your a joke.I don’t think you know what love is.or have ever experienced real love.how could u? being such a negative person that all u can do with your spare time which u probably have alot of when u r not working at some job u hate or going to community college cuz u were to stupid to get into a real university.it never ceases to amaze me that the people who come on here and talk shit or the same people who don’t have anything going on themselves.so wheres your album cover loveubut?so I can rip on how crappy it is? wheres the music you’ve been working on for the past decade?have u ever even written one song?do u even know what a fucking controller or daw is?go fuck yourself seriously.
To add to your comment, the cover art for Wound is another fine example of the female form that is somehow contorted – innocently dressed but dead in her eyes – but which the artwork is reminiscent of anime and would give the illusion of “appealing only to teens”. It is also one of my all-time favorite cd-art works! (I’m also not a teenager).
hey man, musics been inspiring me for years, same with your artwork. cant wait to get this. now all i need is a hoodie/t-shirt so as to advertise and stay comfortably awesome hahaha.
Ordered mine. Agreed w/everyone who’s ever ranted about merchandise in every post made. I needs a larger hoodie for my pot-belly. We’re getting older, Bryan!

What about the rest of the world?
I’m usually don’t mind importing from USA, but I’ve had some really bad experiences with Metropolis’ mail orders.

i dont care if the art makes everyone happy. she looks better in higher res, more zombie like, with a voodoo doll. i like it.
if you dont, buy it from itunes, then you wont have the art. :)
my music is about music, not cd covers.
