Want to listen to a new vac track?

That is only one song on the new lp, the new lp is varied so don’t think the whole thing sounds like that. And yes, I am very happy dependent records is back, I am very happy to be working with Stefan Herwig again after all these years. Peace out.
Bryan.
PS: check out this thread too: http://forum.dependent.de/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1710
Be sure and talk about it on the VAC forum as well :)
PSS: We will play live, touring might not happen, we might just play one offs and fly to our destinations.
BTW: The VAC part is at 8:40.. Acoustic gives it away.

The new LP is going to be amazing!!!
You can definitely hear the Death in June and Current 93 inspiration. I can’t wait to hear what the dance tracks sound like too!!!

for me a little dissapoing, sorry. of course it’s a good song, the vocals and guitar are great, but while listening i couldn’t stop thinking that this are 2 tracks mixed up together… and after an hour of listening i got a headache :/
August 9th, 2009 at 9:04 pm
Yeah, not everyone will like it. I expect that with anything I make though.

Unholy Fudgicles of uncompromising misery! I really dig the sounds! I do hear the Sisters/Cure mash-up done VAC style. This is exciting stuff. I feel that the acoustic move was a checkmate for the VAC sound, in this (even more excited for the new release) fan’s opinion. >:)~
August 10th, 2009 at 12:30 am
be prepared to hate it then, there is a lot of guitar on the lp. I did not feel like doing the same old industrial thing over and over.
August 10th, 2009 at 1:17 am
Superb! Scrolled straight to the VAC song! It’s mindblowing. Amazing how you shifted styles so easily. Totally digging the new vox and Cure influences. Great job! :)
August 10th, 2009 at 1:54 am

August 10th, 2009 at 6:48 am
Nice! Can’t wait for the album.
August 10th, 2009 at 11:08 am
you cant.
August 10th, 2009 at 12:38 pm
If I would have had to guess I would have said you were the last track on the mix.you really nailed the vocals I can’t beleive you didn’t alter your voice on that track fucking flawless keep doing that.the last track was fucking awesome though are you sure that wasn’t you?
August 10th, 2009 at 2:19 pm
What, are you talking about, i’m at 8:40. thats it.
August 10th, 2009 at 2:23 pm
this sounds great. granted its a dj mix for clubs, I like what I hear. I will admit I was skeptical about your decision to do clean vocals, but now that I hear them I am glad I was wrong in my skeptacism. you sound great man.
I also like how you are really doing your own thing while all the other metropolis bands are doing really, really uninspiring ebm garbage (ie combichrist and dope stars inc). luv the mood/feel of the song. luv the acoustics. luv the vocals. can’t wait to hear more of the record.
question, are you done with metropolis now?
August 10th, 2009 at 3:46 pm
I really like how you’re breaking new ground here. The acoustic guitar comes off really well along with the clean vocals. You said this doesn’t reflect the whole album, but if the rest of the album is up to this quality, it’s going to be a damn good album. Thanks man; I really appreciate what you do.
August 10th, 2009 at 4:06 pm
No, metropolis is home, and I like it, metropolis gives me complete freedom.
August 10th, 2009 at 4:23 pm
Damn, this is really good :-)
August 11th, 2009 at 9:07 am
ye its mixed in a little with the last song in the first 5-10 seconds…
I like.
August 11th, 2009 at 10:25 am
It’s a normal thing you’re satisfied with the new lp sound, let’s see how the dance part will be. As others say, the inspiration of bands like Death in June and Current 93 you promised can be checked in tracks like this. Hope some track sounds as depressive as “Killing Me” or “Pain”, two of my favs from you.
August 11th, 2009 at 2:28 pm
i have a grin on my face and a tear in my eye, sounds great bryan, looking forward to hearing the rest of your lp
August 13th, 2009 at 5:25 pm
I keep listening to it over and over again. I really am feeling so positive about this album! October can’t come quick enough! I’m looking forward to this not being the typical industrial album, I love the fact the vocals are clean and lots more guitars!
September 9th, 2009 at 8:46 pm
It is really a tease! I want to hear the rest in Oct to badly
