Update. VAC. Aug 3rd.

Yes my mastering guy will finish the lp I hope today or tomorrow. Then, We get everything set up, Heavy promotion will happen at the end of this month. I will do podcasts talking about each song releasing them every week up till October 27th when “The Art of Breaking Apart” will officially be released. There is a hidden track on the lp, The data track was scrapped because enhanced CDS with data on them ruin the sound quality of the audio portion of the CD. I got this information right from the mastering house’s tech guys. So no free hidden lp :( I really worked hard to make this LP have the best sound quality over all the other VAC LPs, and I don’t want that to be tainted. I picked Brian Gardner and Burnie Grundman to get the best posable cds out.
Now then, I am also working on all the backing tracks for the tour, importing the old songs into logic and remixing them. So far I have improved pretty toy, and discolored eyes and Ghost in the Circuit. I will have all the backing tracks done. We cannot play all the parts live so we will try to play what we can. There are only 3 of us and I suck at singing and playing another instrument. I will contact a booking agent this week and get press photos done next week. I really want to tour to kick ass, I really want the new lp to sell well. So as it stands right now, VAC will play alone, with local acts opening up. I really hope my dark future brightens up a bit. Wish me luck :)

I would love to read a paper from the tech guys about how CD material and adding a data track could modify sound quality.
I really like the podcast idea, its awesome to know what is behind a song, each song is a story by itself.

Please post info when you have a booking guy, that way I can pass requests on to local clubs/bars in the Scranton area to see if something can work out! Gwar and Dying Fetus (not Foetus) have played Tinks alone, so why not VAC? Lots of good venues in NY & Philly too!
I can’t wait for the podcasts and album, just in time for the pagan ritual of spirits, Halloween!!! I love alternate live version of songs (thinking of just the songs mentioned above live is totally gizzworthy), look at how NIN’s translated over the years. The tracks will be awesome I’m sure, good luck developing your live sound, and have fun!

Will the podcasts involve snippets of the songs? I kinda hope not. I’ve waited so long for the album I want to listen to it in it’s entirety, but I am looking forward to hearing the podcasts, it’s a great idea. If the US shows are a complete sell out success, would you consider coming to Europe? You’d so easily pack out the venues over here.

this is wonderful news!! being in minnesota I really hope you come close by on your tour. good luck with everything sir, I hope you attract some new fans and it really sounds like metropolis is getting behind you on this album. can’t wait!
questions, are you going to announce at all what the hidden album was going to be? maybe a special edition or box edition could allow you to release it?

Nope the hidden stuff wont come out, instead i added a hidden track, that you will listen to once, then turn off the cd before it every time after. eheheheheehe
