So it’s official. I am calling the new VAC record “Black Rainbows”. I am in the final stages of completing it. Lyrics and vocals are all that is left. I have 3 completely done. Need to sing to 5 more. Things are starting to click though. But being so late, it will not be out till fall. I’m not going to hype the music any more, the music will speak for itself when it comes out. I will put out videos when it is close to being released. I am working on videos as well. Small budget stuff. Mostly for youtube promotion. I worked with Todd Loomis only on a couple of songs on the new LP. Also I think Scott, my buddy out in california will add a track that i will sing and play guitar to. I am happy with the progress of the LP. I am really working hard on all of this stuff now. The delays have been the because of the lyrics and vocal production, I bought all new gear for the vocal production, and it has taken me some time to figure out. Also, after doing lyrics for the last 20 years, It takes me longer to try and say things I have not already said before. :) Over and out. Hexfix93 aka Bryan Erickson.

thanks for the update – looking forward to the release!

are you still planning on doing a data / music disc, like what you did with TTG?

also, what type of artwork are you leaning towards? Anime? CG? photography? a hybrid of them?

any chance of pre-releasing some 30 second clips from the album to give us a taste? :^D

Oh so we just do a design and show you? But how?
I suppose I could email it to Todd and have him forward it to you, but I don’t think he would be down with that..

    Very good news, Bryan.

I did some illustration work (links see below). So maybe if you like them I could continue in that way.

I can’t wait to hear the new LP, for me this is the MOST anticipated release of 2009!

  12. keyotikdragon Says:

    What label is it? Metropolis?

  13. Parasite Says:

This is awesome news. It will be the most anitcipated release for me as well. You say your going to make it so we can listen to it over and over without getting sick of it, but this is already the case.

are you indeed looking for cover art?

  14. Projekt Eins Says:

diloc, I love your illustration. The Black Rainbow is wonderful. The whole image has this real gritty feel to it.

My only idea is to move the VAC logo. Here are my two ideas:
1- current logo, but at the bottom of the rainbow, like the rainbow is radiating out of the logo.

2- the VAC logo from pretty toy, faded into the sky, like a cloud, in one of the top two corners.

    Great Job overall! :^D
