No More Second Life DJing for me.
Sorry. no more DJ hexfix93 for the time being.
The DJ thing is over for now.
Complicated.
But SL just blows unless you have a super pc with really fast video cards and tons of texture memory. My mac chokes any time there are more than 5 people, i won’t be able to even see their clothing.
Not enough of you came on to make it worth my time.
So the dj thing is bye bye for now.

My friend in Ireland made about 50,000 us pirating movies. Now he sets up legal personal streaming shoutcast servers. Sl does suck to a musician though. So boring these meaningless games.

For what it’s worth, I did appreciate you taking the time to DJ, and I enjoyed the music.

I only got to see it once. I thought it was fantastic. I think SL would be so much better if we had realistic VR units. Oh and faster computers, connections and better graphics.
skits
P.S. love your music. I listen to it often while working on my art.

I think you’re just a little bit too ahead of everybody else with this.
February 25th, 2009 at 3:18 pm
now you can go back to first life and finish your new tunes and maybe tour.
February 25th, 2009 at 4:21 pm
i’ll never tour again. it almost killed me last time.
February 25th, 2009 at 10:57 pm
touring almost kills everybody though…. Not even something like meat beat just did, where they did like 5 shows and that’s it for the last cd? I understand you had a bad touring thing, but i’m fucked up and want to see you live once before I die. but obviously not if it kills you

Well, whatever the ‘complications’ are, I hope that they don’t carry over to real life. Thanks for taking the time to put all of it together for us fans of VAC & music in general out there. And thanks for taking requests!!! It was a lot of fun! :) I wish you strength on the new album.
I must admit that I agree with Porkspam in that I’d like to see you perform live for the new album. Will you be doing local shows in Colorado maybe (if offered an appropriate amount at a decent venue)? I am in PA near the now infamous Scranton but it would be worth the drive/flight!
In any case, can’t wait for the album!

hexfix93 – I don’t suppose you would ever consider doing a remix of Christian Bale’s recent outburst that was in the media recently? I was recently listening to DJ Revolucian’s remix of it and, although he did a great job, I would love to hear your darker take on these things.
Keep up the amazing work!

Would it help to send some graphics cards your way? I have two that I could send if you still want to do the djing thing.
March 1st, 2009 at 2:53 am
Wait crap, pc graphics cards. But you can mess with them anyway, I have no use for them.
