he was on NPR yesterday. i think Michele norris interviewed him. Anyways i dig his approach. i really do. his history with christianity is VERY similiar to mine, i came to find out. with the parents going to church and then stopping for some reason (mine is different and my parents are psuedo Xians.) the rest of the family still goes to church. I do not. my parents don’t. but they still adhere to it. i think it is because they have nothing else. most christians are like that and feel hopeless it seems.. I think (imho) that people need to turn to art as their outlet. not violence, sex, drugs or religion. but hey that is just me talking.
I also am getting really pissed that it seems that only Christians from small towns get in office. That is fucked. Why can we not have someone decent attempt to make a difference.?? but whatever. That is why it is hard to vote. They are all christians and eat meat. Favour hunting and killing animals. And “believe in talking snakes” lol..
And btw people always complain about how the economy is so bad and it for sure is shitty but when times are like this are real and gas goes down, no one seems thankful. i do. i have a mobile place in town (yes i know they are immoral) and they are the lowest. it is owned by arabs and the lady is so nice.

oh, and i forgot to say, that when maher was interviewing that senator, and he asked about his beliefs (the politician) and how silly they were. You know what the politician responded? “YOU DONT NEED TO PASS AN IQ TEST TO GET INTO SENATE.” I laughed so hard.. The first time i heard that and everytime after…
