PS3 is way better.

i will be playing puzzle fighter, the new naruto, fallout, sf IV, force unleashed, and pretty much any rpg that will be coming out…
most fps games are not for me, and i didn’t really dig the soulcaliber IV demo

I agree why not spend 600us on a ps3. Hey I’m gonna buy one just for the fuck of it. I would never dare buy an X-box 360 though. Big waste of money on a piece of technology. Gonna be buying my next advancement into a triple sli based barebone, amd phenom system.

Finally some good stuff for PS3, but not buying an Xbox 360? That would mean missing out on Dead Rising, Lost Odyssey, Bioshock, Braid, Castle Crashers and many other great things..
I was never much for Xbox in the last generation, but with 360, they have taken the legacy of PS2, SNES, etc.
I say: Get both consoles.

I will not ever support anything made by microsoft, they are evil. They are the mcdonalds of the computer world, even worse in my book.
The games you list above don’t interest me. I’m not htat big into rpgs anymore. they all disappoint. bioshock is coming to the ps3 this fall, and i only have time and room for one system, one set of controllers. the ps3 does blue ray too. so its a no win for good old microcrap for me. I do my part to help fight that evil empire by dissing their broken consoles, that costs more than the ps3 once you upgrade it to match it spec by spec. Four words: RED RING OF DEATH.
With the bad midi timing on widnows xp and all the trouble and time i wasted trying to fix their busted os over the years, really is enough for me to hate them till the end of time in my book.

I’ve noticed I can create my own Myspace ,with Joomla community Developer Program. I could get the Yahoo web hosting. Only thing that holds me back is how do I start, start building sessions, for building this community. The process will continue, even though, I started it.
Yahoo web hosting provides unlimited Bandwidth and, unlimited Data Space. I could put a lot of money into promoting it, that’s the only risk, but the hard part is taking my time with Joomla. I have a place to practice, so I will use the space I have for now, Hostgator. The community will be called Idetailblog.com and, it will have a joomla style base. Community builder won’t work. It just is a stupid program. Lots of work ahead of me, have to make the money somehow.
It is mostly a community building program, itself, Joomla. Very interesting work, when you go into a true, web designer’s life.

huh…its funny cuz im typing this on a windows laptop that has this red bar across the front.and all my software crashed and has never been the same.thankfully i got a mac and just transferred my songs onto the mac b4 i lost them all.i just use this for internet stuff now anyway. i never did like how the 360 sounds like it has a jet engine and is ready to take off when u turn it on.that thing has been collecting so much dust though i dont even care.please though tell me b4 i buy the bogus gear next time though. but i was thinking of getting another windows laptop just because there less.now after hearing the evil empire stuff ill probably just wait for another mac.but wait i need one to play all my pc games ggggrrrr damn u microsoft!!!!

I’m not a supporter of Microsoft. I’ve been a console gamer since the 80’s, most of the games I love are from Japan, and I never respected Microsoft’s sudden invasion of the console market. I “hated” the old Xbox (”hated” in the sense that I feel I’m too old to take the console war seriously, I buy every console on the market anyway), just as much as I’ve always been a supporter of Nintendo.
But I’ll say this much, Sony is not one bit better than Microsoft, when it comes to being “an evil capitalistic corporation”, back when they entered the console market, I felt the same way about them as I felt about Microsoft.
However, in the end, the people who work on the consoles, and the games, are geeks who love games, and want to make it as good as possible, no matter if they work for Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo, and their money grubbing companies can’t change that - only influence it through limited budgets and deadlines.
They all do good jobs, but X360 simply ended up with the best selection of games this round, which is my objective opinion, as much as I also dislike Microsoft.
PS3 only has MGS4 so far to compete with 360’s huge library of exclusives, but it’s good for them that they are finally getting some more quality stuff. Looking forward to ICO3 as well.

You don’t know your damn history. Microsoft is the biggest monopoly. Apple is not. Sony is not. Sony is a much more ethical company in it’s business practices so is apple.

Didn’t you know why? Nintendo fucked sony over. Nintendo hired sony to develop their new console after the snes. sony did develope a console for them, and squaresoft was on board for hte new nintendo machine made by sony, so square had a dev kit and was working on it too. at the last minute, nintendo pulled out stating they hated the cdrom slow load format, and made theri nintendo 64, fucking sony over and leaving them with a bunch RandD they could not make money on. ALA the playstation one was born.
This was not some evil monopoly empire moving in. This was a company who entered because nintendo had fucked them over.
Too bad you are ignorant of this history as well. AHAHHAHAHA

I dislike Microsoft as much as you all, but I had to buy a 360 for Ninja Gaiden 2. Come on, this game is pure madness. I happen to prefer the controller on the 360 too, can’t say why.
I used to be a Sega fanboy myself, in the old days. But now I wander between all the consoles because I’m a whore who knows where the good games are.

no the 360 was engineered by idiots who dont know how to make hardware, it over heats and fails and red rings.. its one of hte worst built things ever made.
The controller sucks, its too heavy. having to buy batteries for them is more nickle and diming the ps3 doesn’t do to you. The ps3 controller has way better analog controls, and dont even get me started on the dpad, on the 360 is is UNUSABLE.
Give me a dual shock 3 any day of the fucking week.

actually i love my mac.i dont have the problems i have had with microsoft. every single person i speak with also swears by the mac.ill probably just use this piece of junk pavillion for my pc games and not bother getting another one.i have tried both and i prefer the mac.by the way thanks for setting that guy straight Hexfix.i dont always check the responces on these anyways yeah what Hex said @sumez. the macs are insane the moment u hook it up it videotapes you and u see yourself on the screen very surreal. also built in mic isnt to shabby. far superior to the a pc.

This is a stupid discussion I’m not gonna take, because the bottom line is that I don’t give a rat’s ass about the companies behind them, I just want the best games. And so far, the best game of this generation, Mario Galaxy, is neither on X360 or PS3. ;) But of course, that’s a subjective opinion.
MGS4 is also an amazing game, and Bioshock is also among my favourites ever. I’m not gonna judge it because it’s on a microsoft console.
Same with Lost Odyssey, which pretty much IS Final Fantasy 13! Or maybe FF11 would be more correct. It’s developed by some of the original FF people (including lead designer and original musician) after they left Square, and I kept forgetting I wasn’t playing a FF game. This was the game I’ve been missing ever since FF9. Or, FF7, even.
But again, subjective opinions… Like I said, just get both.

I went with what was going to be the best gaming console for this gen. That was the 360. I hated the original xbox, but the 360 has caught me. I am a HUGE JRPG fan and love the fact i dont have to go out and spend $399 for a system to play them. $199 + $20 2 year warrenty and a $30 used controller = $250. I saved $200 that i put in for my lcd tv. Now lets not forget some of the reasons you will not need a ps3:

U need to buy batteries for the controllers. you have to pay 50 bucks a year to play games, there is no hd movie playback drive in your system. Not all the games take advantage of the hard drive. You will not have HOME. No wifi built in.
BTW final fantasy 13 will be out for 6 months to a year before the 360 version hits store shelves. who cares. I do not like most of the rpgs that have come out recently, in fact, i didn’t like hardly any of them on the ps2. so fuck rpgs right now until the next ff, which will be on the ps3 first.
and like i said, little big planet, killzone 2, socom, warhawk, metal gear and the like all kick the grap out of gears of war and halo. so i could care less about the 360.

in addition to the McMicrosoft bashing i heard this interesting story from a professor of mine on how microsoft “develops” their technology…
when someone creates a new technology that microsoft finds useful/believes that it can make money in the near future, they offer to buy them out and if not….make sure the real creator cant profit as much(if at all)
ie/netscape!…Msoft offered to buy their idea out…got a refusal…so they built windows explorer into their OS and made sure you cant get rid of it

I own all 3, and far love my ps3 over my 360 and wii…i still have my original PS3 60GB, and im on my 5th…yes…my 5TH!! xbox 360…wii is fun for parties, no complaints with wii. Just remember, you get what you pay for with electronics. 600 for my 1st gen ps3 with no problems to this day, is better than my 5 months down time total of my “no xbox but still paid for xbox live with no compensation” bullshit i went through with that POS. They might have some good games but i don’t want to play russian roulette to play them….

Let me clarify…i didn’t buy 5 xbox360’s everytime i sent one back for warranty issues i got a crap refurb that would just do the same thing a couple of months later. Thus not truly fixing the issue.
