Are you serious? Messed up sweedish electroclash pop. WTF. So strange. I like it, Some times it blerts hey, i’m like bjork. Some times its more like, hey i’m electroclash. Sometimes, Hey I’m ballad pop. All I know is that I love her strange cartoonish voice.
I think this is the record to start with if you have not heard them before and are coming from an alternative background. I do like deep cuts a tiny bit more, but this lp flows better and has more edge to it. Watch all the videos to get the gist of what this band is about. A lot of the songs are very different. My favorite tracks are = This Marble House, Like a Pen, We share our mothers health, Silent Shout, and Still Light.
Dave @ vendeta records got me into this band. He first showed me the royksopp track that had the singer from this band doing guest vocals for one of royksopp’s songs. I really like their videos, they are pretty weird.
I really love how mysterious they make their image. It’s hard to find photos of them. Kind of like me. I think that is a good thing, I really tire of the face selling the music and of how image dominates a lot of the music industry. Art beats glam shots any day of the week in my book.
This is a great cd, I’ve owned it for a while now and I still listen to it a lot. I give this a 4.5 out of 5. Buy now! Click Here to buy Silent Shout by The Knife DRM FREE 256 mp3. Click Here to Buy audio cd Silent Shout by The Knife.

Couldn’t agree more dude, Silent Shout is a fucking great album. It’s loud and dancy, but has enough depth and sheer Swedish weirdness to it that you can get a lot out of it even if dance music isn’t your thing.
We Share Our Mother’s Health is one of my favourite songs, EVAR.
