VAC has been in limbo. I have about 6 tracks, but doing vocals has really been tough on this new material. It’s Like I’m learning to sing again. Trying harmonies and all kinds of things. I feel like I must improve a lot on the vocals to make a better impact on the new lp. My living conditions are hampering me now. On top of that, because of how bad the economy is, I’ve had to get a full time job, physical stuff, and getting used to it is a little hard. I have even less time to work on things now. I think this lp wont see the light of day until next year. I know. It bumbs me out too. But if i put out what I have now, it wont be good enough. I have to work harder on it.

There might be some live shows before a new lp comes out. I might hit the road with Todd’s new band. VAC and TG. TG(he will announce the new name soon) is what we will call Todd’s band now. Let me say, todd just got his mastering done on his new lp. I had nothing to do with the song writing or anything on his project, I only gave him some advice. Its really good. The vocals are really great. The recordings are amazing. In terms of productions, I think its better than VAC. I would say that it sounds like a cross between, david bowie, nine inch nails, and the legendary pink dots. Its fucking cool. I think he will have a myspace soon. I’m going to try and help him shop the record around. I am going to promote the hell out of it to you guys. So even though vac is in la la land. Todd’s solo stuff is coming soon. Todd is a member of velvet acid christ since lust for blood. So he is tied to this project. We are still working together on VAC as well. Now that he is finished with his project, we will be finishing off the new vac together. As far as this blog goes, full time job + VAC means no time for video games, and movies. So no new anime, or video game reviews for a little while. I have the new metal gear, and from what I have played of it, its the best game ever. Go pick it up. I also really like the battle field bad company demo as well, i will buy that game as well. Fro has finally joined the VAC klan on PS3 network. So we are kicking it again old school, even though his lame ass moved to Iowa.

I will be doing a podcast again soon, probably later today. look for it.

So, what’s the sound on this one gonna be like? I know you’re supposed to be sounding somewhat different since you went clean, so I was curious.

Actually paypal isn’t friendly for all countries. So I think that 2 systems would be better, say, PayPal + GoogleCheck. :P

I have to say Todd is slowing you down.People would give the left nut or left ovarie to be in VAC and this cs is making everyone wait.he should be the one in limbo waiting on you to finish the new VAC lp not the other way around.your too damn nice sometimes and I think people take advantage of that.anyways this site has been a great help to me and I really enjoy it.no other band out there is as helpful with giving so much information so thanks for that.

take your time on the new vac material. the distance you get from working fulltime and the breaks from gaming and so forth, can have a positive impact on your work. :-)
as soon as i get some support from native instruments, ill send you some of my own stuff.
    peace out! /Jim

Todd isn’t slowing me down. If it wasn’t for todd, you all would still be waiting for lust for blood. its this brutal economy. My fans who download my music for free and don’t buy it. and my lack of playing live that has led to my financial bs that led me to get a job.

Todd gave me job, because if he didn’t , I would be selling all of my gear and living on the fucking streets. Also, I did not work on todd’s solo cd. I did not write one note. It’s todd’s “SOLO” project.

Trust me, it’s a great record. I;m slow for other reasons now. i have some problems where i live, ans money was a huge issue, now i have a job so money is ok, but i dont have as much time.. i plan on making the new record once some things get worked out.

  15. nightmareinhell666 Says:

i see, well now you made me feel like an ass hole for saying that stuff about todd.so sorry todd, guess i was wrong in case u read this.

hope your hand gets better soon.you should take some pictures of it and put it up on the site if it looks really nasty.

  16. Nephandius Says:

Hey, just keep in there. People do pay attention to your blog, though rarely will they comment. Its not a waste of time or anything. Sorry to hear about your hand. Look forward to hear yournew tracks. Your music still keeps me hanging on my thread of sanity… especially in times like these.

Thanks for the update! I can’t wait, every album is quite a treat. Nice thing is, I’m in PA and Metropolis ships for free because it’s in Philly, I just have to pay tax. Orders have been processed quickly too. Enough though!
I would like to make a personal request: if you decide to use samples on the new lp, any chance of using any more Hellraiser ones (yeah, even though the series went to shit and worse)? I’ve always liked that you added a ton of samples from throughout the saga. The Hellbound Web (website) has a whole bunch of MP3′s of quotes, sounds, and the like. There’s a similar Nightbreed one too. Anyway, I’m a big Clive Barker and Horror fan, and I would enjoy it. Thanks again for posting and taking the time to read this drivel!
