Okay, so I decided to give out a remix, I had no real place to put this left over from lust for blood, i did not want to put it on the new lp, because the new lp is nothing like this stuff. Have fun, and if you want to and like it, please click the donate button to donate something. Starving artist here.
Ok, now for the new lp, well, It is coming real slow. I am stuck on the vocals for faded. Still building my weak voice up, I have not done vocals since lust for blood, and my voice is really out of shape. I have about 4 tracks done, but I am still working on the vocals. and yes, This new lp is a strange thing, there is a lot of acoustic guitar on it. It is very heavily influenced by Neo-Folk. I am also heavily influenced by death in june, madonna, new young pony club, ladytron, and astral projection as well. So this lp is turning out a lot different than I planned. I am playing a lot more guitar, but it is not hurting the vac sound at all. I’m trying to really put out the best vocals I have even done on this new lp. A lot of it is clean. I’m trying to be a better vocalist this time around. I only plan on doing 8 tracks for the new lp in total. I am not doing a super long lp like LFB was. I am not working with todd on this lp after all. I think this will be a solo lp, about the only he helped me on was the phucking phreak remake and one other track. So his involvement on this lp is very minimal.
And yes, I am planning a tour for late summer. I think it will be USA only though. Maybe canada. I will not leave the us until there is a new president and the crappy foreign policy in us politics changes. Well, if I get offered a ton of money, I might consider europe. who knows. Eric never calls me, so it looks like I wont be working with eric. So far it looks like todd and I, maybe one other person, I have my eye on a female bassist from out east, but I wont get hopes up, because shit hardly ever works out, like with eric. oh well.

parasite sounds fucking amazing and i hope u come somewhere by me so i can see you and what kind ov vocals are u focussing the cool cure kind, the kickass whisper scream .. or something else or just all ov them? do u think this album is going to be better than your other ones .. pretty hard to beat … well im glad your inspired and yuor actually half way done! congratulations!

Odd. I woke up wanting to listen to “Parasite” and have been wanting to all day. It’s downright spooky that this should appear here now. Cheers! BTW, any chance of “Oblivion Interface” being offered for download or being added to the new CD in MP3 (like “Dimension 8″ on TTG)?

nice! i dig the remix. just can’t help but miss the vocals. it sounds like a great piece for the next possible Between The Eyes vol. I do hope you consider one. Besides that, your 99ยข richer, woo!

i only listened to the remix right now, but when i want to download it with right click it isn’t viewed
and on the quick time player, when i want to save it i have to buy quick time 7 pro..

Not much of a fan of remixes, but I liked it. Beginning seems to drag a bit though.

I’m sad to hear the tour will be US only. I’ve seen every other scene related band I’ve wished to see, and I can’t emphasise enough how much I’m hoping for a European tour some day.

The new album is sounding better and better. Death in June influenced with acoustic guitar, great vocals, etc. I can’t wait! Same goes for the tour. Me and Kristi will definitely come out to see you play whatever show is closest to here. Thank you so much for the Parasite remix too.

Also…who do I need to contact about getting a press pass for your shows? I am a freelance photographer/photojournalist and am trying to build my portfolio, and I think VAC is just the way to do it.

I can’t wait to hear the new stuff. I’m really interested in the vocals, especially! I’m sure it will kick ass. This new mix is really good - I can’t tell whether I prefer it over the original or not.

Wow, just wow. Heres the deal w/ remixes, i like when a remix makes a song take me where the first one didn’t take me. The drums on this remix are amazing! I love how you changed the beat a lot. And the part where you had the piano and the violin, keeping the synth line there, and those fucking awsome drums, makes it sound a lot different. Great remix. I love how you used the sample from a Tc song about going to hell. The slower arp gives the song a totally diffrent flow to. Bad ass. fucken great.

im curious as to why so many hardcore industrial artists such as yourself are into the guitar thing now with the music…why this intense desire to go organic? i cant of course form any opinion since i have not listened to any of this new trend yet (most have not as yours been released yet). so right now it is just a matter of curiosity.
