Mackie vlz pro mixers Reviewed by Velvet Acid Christ

vlz
I got out of the digital workstation box and went back to the old mixers i used on fun with knives, because i miss the aggressive sound i used to get, i cannot get aggressive sounds out of a digital mixer. Hell and my allen and heath mix wizards failed me in this as well. But the good old mackie 1202 vlz pro is just the trick to get aggressive arpeggios and bass and lead lines. not to mention pissed off snappy drums. People nay say these, well they are doing stupid rock crap and pop music, for pissed off electro, nothing beats these old mackie boards. The down side is that they do lop off the low end a tad, but highs and mids are great and cut in a very aggressive way. I can not live without my vlx pro mackie mixers of the past. don’t believe the negative hype. these are great for electro, better than anything you can do in a computer. EQs suck, but can be good for strange sounds and ok for cutting frequencies.. limited though.
